Hi – I’m currently attending the European Cetacean Society conference in Galway Ireland and yesterday I was at the North Atlantic Killer Whale project workshop (NIKID) and was told about your new venture Orcazine and what a great idea. I wish you the best of luck with it. I’ll tell my friends and contacts about you. I’m also a trustee of an UK based marine charity called ORCA (Organisation Cetacea) and I’ll inform our members about you too. Maybe we can do an article about our work on cetaceans.
Very best wishes to you all.

Hi
I run a facebook page called End Killer whale captivity. I write about all the captive orcas around the world and sometimes the wild ones too. I have lots of photos and news ect that you are welcome to share (I can tell you the source’s for any of my photos if you want them).
I cant wait to read the magazine, it sounds amazing. I will share this link on my page.
Hello there,
My name is Jenna Costa Deedy and I run an aquarium internship blog called “The Winter Dolphin Chronicles” . I normally write about my personal experiences meeting captive killer whales and other marine mammals at both marine life facilities and in the wild. In addition, I also write FAQ blog entries in regards to orca facts and write reports and interviews about the people who work with orcas in human care. If you would like for me to contribute to the magazine or share some personal stories with you, then feel free to ask.
Btw, you look like you got a great magazine coming up and it would be an honor to share my orca interests with you.
~Jenna~
Hello!
I am very excited about the prospect of this magazine! I am a cetacean photographer out of Victoria BC and have worked with the Southern Resident Orcas and the ‘local’ transients. I would love to contribute photos and stories in the future!
This is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.
Despite what everyone says about SeaWorld (and please don’t make any comments on the park, I’m not looking for arguments), but since I never grew up around chillier waters, at the age of eight SeaWorld was my first encounter with a killer whale, and since then I knew I wanted to become a marine biologist (and here I am in college for marine biology).
Killer whales are such amazing creatures and I hope to one day be able to work side by side with these creatures, documenting them, and their habits (etc)!
I’m so glad that you guys have created a magazine to spread the word and awareness about these amazing animals.
While I live in Miami, far from the chilly waters these orcas inhabit, and am unable to photograph them in the wild, I would love to contribute in any way (I do have a small photography page, i enjoy writing, and I’m happy to help)!
I wish you all the best of luck with the magazine and I can’t wait for the first print to ‘hit the stands’!
